A total of 146 volunteers, including 8 girls, shaved their heads in support of children with cancer and their families.

On Saturday, 7 July 2012, Republic Polytechnic (RP) and the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF), joined hands to host Hair for Hope, an event which seeks to raise funds and awareness about childhood cancer.

Now in its milestone 10th year, Hair for Hope, was held in conjunction with the annual IGNITE! Music Festival which aims to promote passion and compassion amongst Singapore’s youth.

RP has been a satellite centre for Hair for Hope since 2009.
